I've purchased three of these microwaves in less than four years and none of them have lasted longer than a year. It's always a control panel issue. I will not purchase another one. Will change brands all together.

This microwave has great power and is spacious enough to handle all sizes of microwavable pans that I usually use. It's 1100 watts and that is also an improvement over my last model. We trimmed it out to look like a built-in and it looks terrific!

Every GE Profile product in my kitchen (which is every appliance) has been a major disappointment. Between freezer shelves that can't hold food without falling to the interior paint chipping from this microwave, the one consistent thing about GE Profile is poor quality and short life. It's so ironic that a company plays "woke", but if they actually cared about the environment, they'd build products that last more than a couple years.

This is a very attractive microwave with PLENTY of power. Cooks faster than any microwave I've ever owned so I need to adjust my times. This is a very big unit for a counter microwave so plan accordingly. Only drawback is the extremely loud noise it makes when others SLAM the door closed. No real way around that but GE should devise a means to allow for a softer/quieter closing mechanism.

The microwave started sparking after 9 months. Installed a new waveguide and that was not the problem. Ran it without the waveguide and it was still sparking. The finish on the metal body must be compromised.

My PES 7227SLSS is three years old and died. GE does not have any parts for the device. There are no manuals for the product and it is not repairable, yet is still being sold.

It is not good, it is just OK. The only reason I bought it is that I already vave the kit to install it in the cabinet wall and thus save $250. In a few years when we remodel the kitchen we will get rid of it.

It's a bit smaller than I would have preferred, but it's not like I cook meals in my microwave. The trim kit was delayed in getting here as we are building and we totally understood supply chain issues. It looks nice and does the job.

I like this product but had to order a new trim kit because the previous one wouldn't work with it. I think there should be a universal trim kit for each size so replacement doesn't cost an arm & a leg.

Feature are a little different then the one I had. One thing that I did not like you need to push a button to put in cook time. The other one you could just punch in cook time . I just need to get use to it. Great product.

This microwave is really powerful and really heats things quickly. The only improvement I'd like is the door opener being about 1.5 times it's size. GE PROFILE appliances are terrific. They last for many years and work flawlessly. My entire kitchen is outfitted with them, and I never regretted buying them!

This was replaced under warranty six months ago and now we're having the same problem again. Too much plastic in this series, the door gets stuck shut and the latch will not open it. I'm very disappointed in GE products lately.

2.2 cu ft. Square! You see a lot of wide but not very deep microwaves this is truly usable space the rotisserie fills the whole bottom of the 1100 W microwave.
I am building a new kitchen for a remodel we are doing on our new place and would love to find this same volume in a vented over the stove unit but I have not been able to find one.
Easy to use with a lot of different sensor cooking options.

Thanks to the reviewer who bought this to replace the old model, which WAS built-in capable. (PEB7226SF2SS) I too have to do this (first two both died). I want to at least use the old trim kit - but apparently that is now useless. Hopefully another brand will hold up better over time - or at least offer a comparable replacement when they discontinue it.

I'm replacing its previous model with this new one because the earlier one just broke. After receiving this, I realize that the same trim kit does not fit with this and no trim kits available for this model. GE at its worst behavior.
