I really love this freezer. There's a lot of space. It has a turbo freeze option . There is a vis-à-vis temperature setting on the outside, a safety lock feature and it does have the benefit of being frost free. I love the inside light too!

Just got it! Great size. Love the electronic control on the door letting me know the temperature as well as letting me know if the doors left open. Also love the adjustable legs. Good Thinking GE!

We purchased this garage ready freezer from Home Depot. Delivery was scheduled for the following week. Delivery completed the day it was promised. The delivery staff leveled the unit before they left.

This is bigger than the old freezer that we had for 31 years. We like the lock feature and the price was competitive with other brands that were smaller and did not have a lock . Hint: you might want to get some wire bins to help organize , stack and separate all the items.

Just plug-n-play. Did take over 4 hours to reach initial temp but since has performed flawlessly.
One recommended feature would be to display internal ACTUAL TEMP. Dealer said it did display ACTUAL but we can not find. No big problem as our prior freezer did not display actual temp either.

04/15/2022 8 PM Old upright freezer decided it's 30 year life span was just that. Had to scurry and purchase a small (since no one had a large in stock that I could take home that night) freezer that would suffice for the time being.05/08/2022 Purchased GE - 21.3 Cu. Ft. Frost-Free Upright Freezer - White Model: FUF21SMRWW from Best Buy. 05/28/2022 Product delivered and set in place (in garage - of course). Little over one day later and still impressed with everything about freezer. Since GE product purchased through Best Buy expect no issues/situations for life of product.

This freezer is the same cubic feet as my old one but taller and narrower. Because of that
I feel like it could use an extra shelf. I have to stack stuff so high that when i open the door things fall out. Thats the reason I didnt give it 5 stars.

This freezer is excellent. My husband and I initially purchased the GE 17.3 cu ft freezer. after less than one week, we outgrew it. We believe in stocking up when those "can't pass it up" sales roll around and we stock up. The following week we purchased the 21.3 cu ft and wow!! The space is nearly "walk-in" capable. Now we have the space we've always wanted. This is an investment for those who really enjoy stocking up and keeping their expensive foods organized and at a sturdy temperature.

Love the room, and over all features and design of this freezer. The only issue that I see is the design of the insides that hold the shelves. They are not wide enough. The shelves bow with the weight of the food. The shelves do not sit on the ledge well. Shelves could fall with too much weight.

GE upright freezers are the best! Purchased this new one in August of 2021 and arrived May of 2022. We were pleased with that time. Everyone is waiting for things these days. We bought this unit to replace a model from 2007 - which is still working. GE freezers are hard working and long lasting!

The shelves on the door aren't very deep. There is only 1 slide-out basket. The shelves are too wide apart and don't easily lend themselves to categorization of food. Had to put a shim under 1 side to level it. I was desperate for a large garage-ready freezer, and this was the only 1 available. Like that it has the temperature posted on the outside.

The inner size of the 21 cu.ft. is totally amazing. It will allow me to shut off TWO of my freezers to combine them with this one. The shelves are easy clean, basket on the bottom, shelves on the door.The warning sounds are made for you to know if there is a problems. Well made GE well Made. Highly recommend this as your FIRST and only choice of a new freezer. It is an upright easy to get things in and out of it. Must Must Have.

This is the best freezer we have ever purchased. Not only is it frost free, but comes with nice, roomy shelves and a huge basket at the bottom with a lot of room in the door as well. We keep it in our garage, so the alarm on it is great. The digital temperature reading makes it easy to verify it is on. We love it, it has made stocking up a real pleasure.

We've had this freezer about 5 months and it is working with no issues and is pretty quiet. The reason for the 4 stars is the inadequate strength of the wire shelves. They are sagging under the weight of the food. I do not think that we have an inordinate amount of weight on them. GE should increase the diameter of the wire or add additional cross wires to increase strength. Definitely a blemish on an otherwise nice freezer.
